Φρύνη Μουζακίτου

Η Φρύνη Μουζακίτου είναι Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Εσωτερικής Αρχιτεκτονικής του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής με γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Εικαστικές Τέχνες με πολλαπλά μέσα». Έχει πολυετή εμπειρία ως εικαστικός και ερευνητική ενασχόληση που επικεντρώνεται στην ερμηνεία και τις εννοιολογικές προσεγγίσεις του χώρου, ως προς τις ιστορικές, πολιτισμικές και κοινωνικοοικονομικές του διαστάσεις. Σπούδασε στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών (1987) και ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Royal College of Art του Λονδίνου (1991), ενώ συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές της στο πρόγραμμα “Computer Related Design” του ίδιου ιδρύματος.
Είναι μέλος του ερευνητικού εργαστήριου «Χώρος, Αισθητική, Αειφορία (Χ.Α.Α.)». Έχει συμμετάσχει σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα και έχει συγγράψει το εκπαιδευτικό βιβλίο «Φόρμα–Η Οπτική Γλώσσα στον Σύγχρονο Σχεδιασμό», εκδόσεις Οδυσσέας, Αθήνα, 2004. Το εικαστικό της έργο αναπτύσσεται με αναλογικά και ψηφιακά μέσα, ζωγραφική, κολλάζ ψηφιακή επεξεργασία εικόνας. Έχει στο ενεργητικό της μια σειρά ατομικών και ομαδικών εκθέσεων σε γκαλερί και δημόσιους χώρους, στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Έργα της βρίσκονται σε πολλές ιδιωτικές και δημόσιες συλλογές όπως του ΕΜΣΤ, του Μακεδονικού Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, της Coutts Bank, της Εθνικής Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος, του Intercontinental, του Δ. Δασκαλόπουλου, του Χ. Δαυίδ κ.α.
Fryni Mouzakitou
Professor, Department of Interior Architecture, University of West Attica
Fryni Mouzakitou is a Professor at the Department of Interior Architecture at the University of West Attica and a member of the Visual Arts Chamber of Greece. She has extensive experience as a visual artist and researcher, focusing on the interpretation and conceptual approaches to space and its historical, cultural, and socio-economic dimensions. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1987) and completed postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art in London (1991), including the “Computer Related Design” program at the same institution. Her artistic work includes numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious venues, such as Ileana Tounta Contemporary Art Center, the Municipal Gallery of Syros, and international festivals. She has also participated in group exhibitions at museums and art events like the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) and Art-Athina. In research, she is a member of the “Space, Aesthetic, and Sustainability” Laboratory at the University of West Attica and has participated in projects, focusing on the depiction of space through artistic and cultural lenses. Her written work includes the book “Form: The Visual Language in Contemporary Design.” Her professional activity includes participation in art committees and works that are part of major collections, such as the EMST collection, the Daskalopoulos Collection, and the National Bank of Greece collection.
